If you choose to spend your christmas holiday in the Caribbean, you have to try a Mai Tai cocktail for a true, delicious Caribbean treat.
Our friends from Red Anywhere have just catered for the wedding of Jamelia (British R&B Singer of Caribbean descent). They have kindly given us a recipe for the Caribbean Mai Tai to add to our celebration of a Caribbean Christmas Series.
Mai Tai
This Caribbean cocktail originates from Tahiti and actually was called Trader Vic named after the bar tender who invented the drink.
“Our special recipe at Red Anywhere has been modified over the years to make what we believe the best “Mai Tai” ever!” - Red Anywhere
Ingredients
¾ oz Bacardi Blanca
¾ oz Bacardi 8 Year Old
½ oz Triple Sec
¾ oz Lime Juice
2 oz Pineapple Juice
3 Dashes Angostura’s Bitters
Method – Shake and Strain all ingredients together
Mmmmm… Enjoy.

Wouldn’t everyone want a Christmas holiday in the Caribbean I know I would but thats just something out my price range so I will gladly use the Mai Tai cocktail recipe and enjoy it on my holiday in South Africa.
