Dubai Bargains

Dubai is a city of almost constant change.  At first glance there are cranes everywhere, the hotels are bustling and the roads are filled with trucks.  There are flowers and grass at interchanges where there was only dust before. The Address, the Palace and the soon to be added Address at the Dubai Mall, offer an interesting new Dubai location. In the shadow of the Burj tower and next to the Dubai Mall, you may not on the beach, but you do have wonderful gardens, pools and the ability to walk virtually anywhere. Behind the scenes and in the air, something else has changed in Dubai.  That feeling of walking on water has gone.  The credit crunch has hit here too and the sheik who owns 50% of all the hotels has put a number of projects “on hold”. They may even scrap plans for the Queen Mary, according to the Sunday Times.
