We hear lots about how horrible the experience in immigration can be and we have noticed how the queues have grown in USA and also in UK. I have recently returned from Singapore, where I went on a super Star Cruise. Travelling in economy, number 324 off the aircraft and expecting to be queuing round the block, I was very pleasantly surprised to find no queue, a smiling immigration officer and a free mint to chew while I waited for the forms to be stamped. The whole thing took 3 minutes and when I got to the luggage carousel my luggage was there. Well done Changi Airport Singapore - truely the best. Does anyone know anywhere better.
