Shopping On The Way To The Maldives!
Written by Michelle -When travelling to the Maldives, you will undoubtedly find yourself in transit in Dubai or Doha, to name a couple of Middle Eastern stopovers. However, whilst it’s easy to shop in these great airports – be warned, your purchases may be confiscated at the other end! With the Maldives being a Muslim country, it is illegal to carry alcohol in therefore your bargain bottle of gin will be removed and destroyed on arrival. So, just enjoy looking/buying the gold and diamonds instead!
