Tobago Beaches
Written by Jennifer -If you’re planning a trip to Tobago, make sure you don’t just vegetate on the hotel beach – go and veg out on some of the other beaches too! My fiancé and I have just returned from Coco Reef Resort and whilst its private beach was truly lovely with powdery white sand, we took a short walk to Pigeon Point beach to meet some locals and enjoy a change of scenery. It was fantastic! I’d highly recommend you go on a Sunday when local families sing their hymns (your own free concert!) and you can meet some real characters. You have to pay to get on the beach, but it is cleaned and you can rent a beach hut to protect you from the sun. The huts have no sides so the sea breeze whistles through to keep you cool – bliss!
